What do you do at Getac?
I am an accounting manager in charge of monthly closing, cash management and providing financial reports to HQ and auditors.
Why did you decide to become an accountant?
I like working with numbers.
How did you hear about Getac?
I was referred by a fellow Getac employee.
What is a typical day-in-the-life like?
Review, update and prepare financial data; process payments; communicate with my accounting team, other departments, CPAs, and HQ. Then, after work, enjoy different foods and relax.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Finding answers to problems gives me a sense of accomplishment.
What do you think someone outside the organization would find surprising about working at Getac?
We have lots of freedom in how we do our jobs.
What’s an interesting fact about yourself?
I played the drums in my high school marching band.
