As a part of the Inside Sales Team, Chris Welpman is responsible for all of Getac’s eastern public sector accounts, creating new sales and training new employees. What do you do at Getac?
I support my RSMs and am involved in the entire sales process. My territory consists of all public safety accounts east of the Mississippi River. I also help with training new employees.
Why did you become an inside sales rep?
I was hired as an associate and worked my way up from being a cold caller to earn my current position.
What brought you to Getac?
A friend’s recommendation brought me to Getac for which I am very grateful for being able to join such a great company.
What do you like most about working here?
At a very young age a mentor told me that there is no I in team. I can’t stress the importance of these words of wisdom in their relationship to accomplishment and achieving one’s goals. I work with a great team and its what I like most about working at Getac.
What project are you most proud of?
I am most proud of being able to work with our county’s public sector and provide them with the best rugged solutions. I truly feel like I am helping to make a difference.
