1. What do you like most about your job?
The aspect I enjoy the most about working at Getac, especially as a developer, is the room for growth and learning that is encouraged. I’m very grateful that my team is always willing to help me and they continue to teach me new ways to be a better developer!
2. How do you manage work/life balance?
I’m lucky that I’m in a career that I genuinely enjoy, and that definitely helps by making my work something that I look forward to. I really love working, and as a result my work and my life naturally balance each other out.
3. What qualities best reflect your team?
I’d say in the relatively short time since I’ve started working at Getac, I’ve realized quickly that my team is very encouraging, very skilled in what they do, very welcoming, and very funny!
4. What do you enjoy most about your role?
I enjoy creating and building things, so developing is really enjoyable for me. There’s so much to learn and so many different ways to build a system/website, so it’s
an amazing combination of both a technical and creative role.
5. Who or what inspires you professionally?
I’m definitely inspired by the people around me. It’s really motivating to meet really talented and skilled individuals, and that makes me want to reach that same level.
Especially after getting hired on at Getac, I can’t wait to reach the skill level of those on my team!
6. Are you a morning person or an afternoon person?
Morning! Everything feels more refreshing and new during the mornings, and you have the whole rest of the day ahead of you!
