Getac Profile: Katelyn Knuepfer, Channel Sales

We are in the process of improving our Channel Partner Program that will be launching at the start of the new year. These enhancements will add more value to the program for our partners. For example, our channel partners have been asking for a deal registration program, and we hope to have that finalized as part of next year’s launch. Katelyn Knuepfer and her team are also developing a new user-friendly partner portal – a one stop shop where partners can find all things Getac that are needed to run their business. When she’s not working, Katelyn enjoys trying new restaurants in Chicago, boating, and exploring the city with her husband and dog.

Why did you choose to become a channel account manager?

I started my sales career as an account manager at CDW. From there I was introduced to the channel community and knew I would thrive as a channel manager. I love building new relationships and working with our partners to provide great service and solutions for our customers.

What brought you to Getac?

The people (most importantly), the products, and the outstanding customer service.

How would you describe what you do at Getac?

In addition to managing relationships with reseller partners, I implement sales programs and promotions to drive brand awareness and increase sales.

What is the channel process like at Getac?

Our reseller community multiplies our bandwidth and adds value for our customers. We have an entire team dedicated to supporting our resellers, making it easy to partner with Getac.

How have Getac’s channel tools evolved?

We have improved our partner program, enhanced the content on our partner portal, added headcount/resources to our team, and continue to simplify the process of partnering with Getac.
