As part of the Getac Sales team, Chris helps professionals manage and expand their businesses by integrating rugged solutions into rough environments. When he’s not at work, Chris enjoys surfing, fishing, rock climbing, and spending time with family and friends.
How has your role evolved from when you first started?
When I first joined, I was helping professionals to get started with Getac and teaching them how to get the most from our services. Fast-forward five years and my role is now customer-facing and I oversee my own territory. I listen to our customer’s challenges and create customized solutions to help them achieve their goals.
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy speaking to the different customers we have and truly helping them find solutions that improve their daily lives. I believe in our products so selling the benefits comes easily.
What’s something that has surprised you about working at Getac?
It has to be how well Getac supports employees, particularly in terms of mentorship. That has greatly improved my professional career. I look forward to working with my team each morning and learning from their expertise.
What is your favorite Getac feature?
My favorite features would have to be the warranty and support. Our customers operate in rough environments, and they need a rugged device and warranty to match.
What is a typical workday like for you?
I spend the day working on leads, quotes, forecasting, and working with our channel partners so that I can help customers find the correct solutions to match their application and environment. I am focused on creating pipeline and being a team player throughout the sales process.
