The V-Series comes with advanced QuadraClear™ sunlight readable screen technology to provide excellent legibility under direct sunlight, and pressure sensitive touch screens allow the user to operate the laptop without taking off their gloves.
The screens offer a more effective contrast ratio than most other laptops on the market today. Optional dual mode touch screens with digitizer and multi-touch will allow two or more concurrent physical contacts to be made with the screen at any one time, making operation faster and more convenient.

The new range is MIL-STD 810G and IP65 certified which means the devices are guaranteed to withstand shocks, vibration and drops, and are built to continue working in the most punishing of temperatures from as low as -20°C right up to 60°C.
The V-Series unique ergonomic design features a full-size mechanical keyboard with waterproof keys, for maximum functionality and comes with the option of a backlit mechanical, or rubber keyboard. It also incorporates Getac’s bespoke fan-less build.
Built-in communication and connectivity features include wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n, Gobi™ mobile broadband and Bluetooth 4.0 for those who need to be in touch with their base. Users will also benefit from the superior precision and sensitivity of the SiRFstarIVTM GPS providing optimum positioning accuracy.
The V-Series boasts integrated USB 3.0 which allows data to be downloaded 10 times faster than previous models, whilst a 320GB hard disk (HDD) provides the user with the ability to store large amounts of data for use in the field, and 4GB RAM (support up to 8GB) provides fast access.
Yu adds, “The Getac’s new V-Series is coming with an industry best 5 year warranty as standard with additional warranty and service packages also available.” He concludes, ”The new V-Series will be available in Australia in early November at the RRP starts from AU$3,995 for V100 and AU$ 4,695 for V200.”
