On November 17th to 20th, Getac joined the Milipol exhibition in Paris. This international military and police equipment exhibition is the most important exhibition in the field of security. This show brought together the world’s decision-makers and security advisers, to assess public and industrial safety technology products and services.
This is Getac’s first time attending Milipol. The key message Getac delivered was that Getac is moving towards becoming a solution company with both hardware and software. We showcased our new innovative product VERETOS mobile video system (MVS) which is the perfect system for capturing evidence for police when they are in the field.
Veretos is a complete solution and includes everything needed to outfit a vehicle for video capture. The mobile video system kit includes the HD digital video recorder, ZeroDark HD camera, 5-inch display, back-seat camera and wireless microphone, along with cables and basic mounting accessories.
In additional we also showcased our fully rugged notebooks and tablets. Especially interesting was our tablet keyboard solution for F110, which transforms the device into a 2-in-1 laptop, which is easy to type when officers are on the move.
Milipol is a very good show for Getac. Through the show we better understand the requirements of the French police and share our best practices in public safety using Getac products.
