Getac customized a rugged laptop with an engineered I/O door to allow the client's tamper-proof tape to adhere securely and form a clear seal. Additionally, a tailored BIOS configuration offered enhanced access control at the firmware level. These key security modifications worked together to ensure the device could not be used or accessed while on the premises, aligning with factory safety requirements and client expectations.
