While the standard B360 meets general security standards, the client’s operational environment required additional physical safeguards. To address the risk of data theft in the event of chassis access, they needed a tailored, tamper-resistant configuration capable of protecting sensitive data even when devices were powered down or physically breached. With strict data protection protocols in naval command environments, a customized solution was urgently required.

Built-in tamper detection with auto lockdown
Getac integrated a tailored anti-tampering mechanism into the B360 that detects chassis intrusion in both powered-on and -off states. If tampering is detected, the system locks the motherboard and permanently disables system boot, rendering sensitive data inaccessible.
