DHS TACCOM II Contract Effective: 05/03/2019 – 05/03/24
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) established a multiple award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Multi-Agency Contract (MAC) to allow DHS and other federal agencies the ability to procure the latest tools and technologies for end-to-end transmission of mission-critical voice and data. This Best-In-Class (BIC) solution features both equipment (radios, infrastructure, and satellite solutions) and services (systems integration, installation, engineering, and operations and maintenance). There are 45 total awards across two technical categories, one for equipment and one for services.
Key Contract Vehicle Features: 1) Newest and most advanced technology is always immediately available; 2) Reliability guaranteed with standard commercial warranties and delivery 30 days after order; 3) Saves time with streamlined ordering and standardized labor categories; 4) Interoperable equipment is available, enabling communication across government agencies; and 5) Offers competitive pricing discounts. DHS will allow partner agencies to place orders against the resultant IDIQ contracts. As such, this contract vehicle will be a MAC. External agencies that may use TACCOM II include but are not limited to 1) Department of Justice, 2) Department of Agriculture, 3) Department of Treasury, 4) Department of State, 5) Department of Interior, 6) Health and Human Services, 7) Veterans Affairs, and 8) The White House Communications Agency.
