Notilo Plus drone solutions evolve in challenging environments where it can usually be foggy, humid and where equipment needs to operate regardless of the conditions. Founded in 2016, Notilo Plus develop intelligent, autonomous underwater drones for various industries. Their applications allow professionals to detect and inspect points of interest on underwater workings and ships’ hull, using advanced AI and technological systems. With clients in sectors in the defense, oil & gas, rescue, shipping, maritime industries and scientific research sectors, their goal is to provide professionals with integrated solutions. Because their partners require autonomous inspections, they needed to find robust equipment to complete their drone solutions and allow them to pilot underwater drones in various type of conditions. For underwater professionals, hardware is a key component of their missions’ success. After extensive research, Notilo Plus selected the F110 for its world-class robustness, its IP65 certification, as well as its design. Because Notilo Plus partners work in challenging environments where consumer-grade products can be subject to failure, it was essential to provide them with a rugged device that can keep operating even when facing water jets. Maritime environments and the exposure to salt are also a great challenge to computing devices. Getac offers a unique anti-corrosion technology integrated in the F110 which has a salt fog resistance.
In fact, the fully rugged tablet is MIL-STD810G and IP65-certified to survive drops up to four feet and endure rain, moisture, vibrations, shock as well as extreme temperatures from -21 °C to 60 °C (operating temperature) and -40 °C to 71 °C - (storage temperature).
