Security is ingrained in our company culture, and we are committed to implementing and upholding stringent security policies and procedures across all levels of our organization. We continuously invest in state-of-the-art security technologies, conduct regular risk assessments, and provide ongoing training and awareness programs to our employees to mitigate security risks effectively. Our unwavering dedication to security underscores our commitment to maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers and partners.

Security Updates

Getac is dedicated to improving our security measures and reducing the risk associated with security vulnerabilities pertaining to our products. Security updates are released for supported Getac Window systems every half year or less, in accordance with security advisories provided by Intel Corporation and Insyde Software Corp. Latest Drivers, Management Engine Firmware (“ME FW”), and Basic Input/Output System (“BIOS”) solutions are released and listed out for the affected products with the links provided. Getac strives to provide security update support for Getac Windows devices for the duration of their availability for sale, as well as three (3) years following the last order date (End of Sale Date, EOS Date) issued by Getac for each product model. As for Getac Android devices, security updates are available on a quarterly basis, where we closely follow publishes on AOSP. Visit Getac Device Update Center for more information. The security update support period for the EOS Products are listed in the following table. The aforementioned Getac’s security update support period for Getac Windows devices and Android devices will not shorten after the publication of this Security Policy. However, it's important to note that Getac's minimum security update support period does not cover the updates for third-party delivered software and these updates should be governed by the support period provided by the respective third-party software provider. Should Getac’s support period be extended, notification of the revised timeframe will be made at the earliest opportunity. Regarding updates for any third-party delivered software, including but not limited to operating systems and applications, Getac does not warrant or assume liability for their warranties, service terms, and support periods. (All mentioned schedules and time frame are subject to change without prior notice whenever necessary)
